What is a Möbius band?
A Möbius band (or Möbius strip) is a two dimensional figure that is not a flat (plane) figure. It only has one edge and one face.
You can follow the edge or face in the image above (or in the title bar), you will end up precisely where you started.
Why the name Möbius band?
The Möbius band is named after its German inventor, August Ferdinand Möbius.
How do you create a Möbius band?
Creating a Möbius band is not at all difficult. Take a strip of paper and give it a half-twist and join the ends together with tape or glue.
